Sofia Tech Park JSC organized an information day on the Phase 2 of the Science and Technology Park project funded under the Operational Program “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020. The first phase of the project was implemented with a grant from the Operational Program “Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy” 2007-2013.

The main objective of the project is to attract and encourage innovative ideas and projects for products and services, thus helping to increase the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy and to create new jobs. The start of the project is 11 April 2017. The deadline for implementation of the project is April 11, 2019. The total amount of funding is BGN 12 317 649.61.

The Information Day will be held on January 17, 2018, Wednesday, at 11.00 am in Sofia Tech Park / 111 Tsarigradsko shose, Sofia / in the building of the Laboratory complex of the science and technology park. The purpose of the event is to familiarize the general public, and in particular the representatives of the entrepreneurial environments, the scientific and educational community with the achievement of the project for the first science and technology park in Bulgaria, the opportunities provided by the infrastructure and the implementation of the activities during the second phase of the project.

The Executive Director of Sofia Tech Park JSC Todor Angelov will present the main tasks of the project and will take into account the achievements of the implementation of the envisaged individual measures. In the framework of the implementation of the project objectives, a joint partnership will be successfully presented, whereby a permanent interactive exhibition in the Museum / Experimental Building of the Science and Technology Park is in process of realization. Exposure will be directed to children and adolescents.

Participation in the information day will be held by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sofia Tech Park JSC Prof. Nikolay Andreev, the member of the Board of Directors of the company Jivka Takeva-Parvanova, the Chairman of the Association for Research and Development Prof. Marin Hristov, the Executive Director of TechnoLogica Ognyan Trayanov, representatives of the Managing Authority of the Operational Program “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020 and others.
