Dicovereris a Petascale supercomputer capable of executing more than 4,2 Petaflops Rmax and over 6 petaFLOPS Rpeak<\/p>\n
PetaSC Bulgaria is a legal consortium combining the knowledge of our organizations and more than 15 years of experience in applied science. Founders of the organization are Sofia Tech Park, National Center for Supercomputing Applications and the Strategic Center for Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n
Our experience is concluding the operations of 2 supercomputers (IBM Blue Gene\/P and HP HPC cluster. We also have been participating in 6 PRACE programs by delivering more than 13 projects in cooperation with our partners from PRACE.<\/p>\n
Our main objective is to foster better science for industrial applicability and facilitate the development of the next level European economy.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:<\/p>\n
Management of Red Hat server environment including server builds, configuration, hardening, patching, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance including backup and recovery, and business continuity \/ DR.
\nTroubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.<\/p>\n
Work closely with the application administration team , application development clients , and database management teams to resolve application\/database service delivery issues.
\nUse automation, orchestration, and scripting tools to manage existing and future systems.
\nMonitor and maintain operational aspects of virtualization environments (VMware ESXi, RedHat).
\nEvaluating and applying system and security patches to ensure the security and stability of the environment
\nMonitoring system performance or event logs for normal operations.<\/p>\n
Monitoring of all reporting and visualization tool related to data center and Supercomputer nodes.<\/p>\n
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
1+ years relevant experience
\nExperience with Red Hat Linux system administration
\nExperience in the use of SSL offloading, load balancing
\nExcellent fault diagnostics and troubleshooting skills<\/p>\n
Average knowledge of the Red Hat distribution (the package system, Errata, etc.).
\nExperience with Red Hat Satellite system and Linux VM provisioning.<\/p>\n
Good coordination and communication skills
\nFluency in English<\/p>\n
WILL BE CONSIDERED A PLUS:<\/p>\n
VMWare administration and experience with Nagios (Check_MK) monitoring will be considered as a plus.<\/p>\n
Some experience with GitLab.
\nConfiguration Management Experience with Puppet.
\nSome experience with Red Hat Ansible.
\nSome experience with EasyBuild
