The first of its kind academy for visual-digital art and branding – ARC Academy, opened doors in Sofia Tech Park for its first graduation class. “We are a modern academy that aims to help students unleash and develop their creative potential and start working in the fields of game design, branding, film art and space design. We encourage students to pursue their aspirations, to take responsibility for their time and effort, and to stimulate their creativity”, said the founders of the academy Anthony Christov and Milin Dzhalaliev, experts with long years of experience in gaming (game development), building brands, film production and space design.
Sofia Tech Park is a partner and a host of the Academy, which is located in the Laboratory complex in the science and technology park.
The idea of ARC Academy is to be practical educational platform where students can become familiar with the work environment and business will meet with their future employees.
The Academy starts with three basic programs – “Digital Arts Fundamentals”, „Game Development“, in which game design, modeling and animation will be studied, and “Brand Building”. Gradually, the school will seek to expand the range of disciplines offered in areas such as Film Production and Space Design.
At ARC Academy, students will not only gain practical experience from leaders in their industries, but will also meet professionals working at leading companies, starting to build professional relationships with them.
That’s why ARC Academy has partnered with industry leaders in their respective fields – gaming (Ubisoft, Creative Assembly, Gameloft, Chaos Group), branding (Saatchi & Saatchi, Econt, VUM). In addition, the Academy is supported by the Bulgarian Center for Entrepreneurship (BEC).
