“Lepzi Diagnostics” becomes part of the Sofia Tech Park’s ecosystem

 

The Canadian company “Lepzi Diagnostics” has joined the innovative ecosystem of Sofia Tech Park. The company is already part of the community of the Business Incubator of the science and technology park. The partnership between the two organizations will be developed over the next two years and  it envisages joint development of projectс together with the scientists from the laboratories of the Sofia Tech Park. The company, through its activities, sharing experience and partnership with other members of the Incubator and academic community in the park, will contribute to the enrichment and development of the ecosystem and will add another international expertise in the field of life sciences, which are part of the main focus areas of the science and technology park.

Lepzi is an innovative company working in the field of high-performance technologies for medical diagnostics and medical care.The team consists of professionals with extensive experience in the design and development of medical devices, prototypes and reagents to the application of specialized processes for production and quality control. Lepzi Diagnostika provides an advanced platform for immunoassay that allows a rapid flow of diagnostic information for improvement of the medical care. In partnership with Sofia Tech Park, the company will build a production base for its products aimed at fast and reliable testing, as well as in the implementation of an automated process for assembling Lepzi test kits, production of reagents and quality control materials for POCT products. Among the common plans is the development of software solutions for integrating products or data with laboratory information management systems, and the development of methods, procedures and materials for quality control.
