R & D and Innovation Consortium is a partner in a project for development of product innovation jointly with Intelligent Systems Bulgaria EOOD

On May 25, 2018, a grant agreement № BG16RFOP002-1.005-0112-C01 was signed for the implementation of the project “Unified Technology and Functional Platform for data and process management in medium and large forwarding companies based on hybrid cloud model integrating Microsoft Azure Cloud Services Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Cortana Intelligence, and Google Amazon Web Services”. The project is implemented under the Operational Program “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020, co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.

Beneficiary of the project is Intelligent Systems Bulgaria EOOD, and partner “Research and Development and Innovation Consortium” at Sofia Tech Park AD. On the part of the RDIC, activities will be carried out in the laboratory of High Performance Computing Lab and the laboratory for Artificial Intelligence and CAD systems.

The budget of the project amounts to BGN 1 076 939.66, of which BGN 749 284.68 are financed by the Innovation and Competitiveness OP 2014-2020 (EUR 636 891.97 European and BGN 112 392.71 national co-financing) and BGN 327 654.98 co-financing on the part of the beneficiary and the partner. The total duration of the project is 24 months.

The subject of the project is the development of a new unified technology and functional platform for data and process management in medium and large forwarding and logistics companies based on a hybrid cloud model as an outsourcing business process management service using Cloud Technologies, Intelligence Artificial Intelligence and others.

As a result of the implementation of the project Intelligent Systems Bulgaria EOOD together with R & D and Innovation Consortium will develop a product – service falling within the scope of the three priority directions of the thematic field “ICT and Informatics” of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization:

Leading direction:

1.1. Big Data, Grid and Cloud Technologies

Secondary directions:

1.2. web, hybrid and “native” applications, web based applications for creating and exploiting new services and products;

1.3. using new capabilities in relation to outsourcing and ICT-based services and systems;

The main groups of activities to be implemented under the project are:

1. Carrying out the research, tests and measurements needed to develop a single technology and functional platform for logistics and forwarding;

2. Creating and testing a prototype related to the development of a software platform for logistics and forwarding to be provided as a cloud service.
