Sofia Tech Park аnd Sme’s Webinars organize a webinar „AFTER TOMORROW“ with the participation of Momchil Vassilev from endeavor, Executive Director of Endeavor Global Entrepreneurship Network for Bulgaria.
What will the situation look like after the global crisis of spread Covid-19? What are the challenges and prospects for small and medium-sized enterprises and for the start-ups? How can companies deal with and benefit from the crisis? What measures should the state take to support small and medium-sized enterprises and will there be financial levers for this? How will national and international venture and equity funds react? Coronavirus crisis – the end of one beginning, the beginning of one end or a new beginning?
Within an hour, Momchil Vassilev will present his point of view on how companies try to make optimally better decisions for their business, and how to adapt their business models during a crisis. They will also have the opportunity to ask their questions to Momchil Vassilev. As well as to the Executive Director of BSMEPA Boyko Takov, the Executive Director of Sofia Tech Park Todor Mladenov and to the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Science and Technology Park Natanail Stefanov, who is also part of BESCO.
The initiative of Sofia Tech Park, the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency and Endeavor Bulgaria aims to provide up-to-date information to the companies and to enable them to receive answers to their questions.
This is the first webinar in which Sofia Tech Park is the initiator and co-organizer. It is part of the Science and Technology Park’ initiative “Dare”, which is aimed at active young people, innovators, entrepreneurs, scientists, university students and high school students. “Dare” will continue to present different perspectives and opinions in the coming weeks on the challenges posed by the crisis that has enveloped the world in recent months, as well as try to provide examples of good practice, to provide expert advice.
SMEs Webinars are a series of online seminars organized by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency, aiming to familiarize Bulgarian businesses with the digital tools for promotion, marketing, management and analysis, as well as to develop the presentation and strategic skills of employees at all levels in the companies.
Previous editions of SMEs Webinars have presented topics on successful techniques for increasing sales, developing and deploying innovation, cybersecurity, communications and business management in a crisis. Nearly 2000 representatives of the Bulgarian business participated in the online seminars, in which the lecturers were leading business experts and representatives of the academic community in the country. All events in the SMEs Webinars series are free of charge.
Momchil Vassilev has over 25 years of professional experience in management and business development in various industries. He is a co-founder and co-owner of the Proviti biotechnology company, established in 2011, focused on the development of probiotic products. From 2011 to December 2016 he was Vice President of Corporate Development at the VIA Group investment group.
Previously, for 17 years, he was part of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ team leading projects in the areas of auditing, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational restructuring, reaching the position of Senior Manager. He has a master degree in economics from UNWE as well as an entrepreneurship program from Harvard University in Massachusetts. Momchil is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
