The Next Web conference (https://thenextweb.com) is a great place to meet partners, investors, great ideas and innovators. This year it was at the NDSM – Amsterdam from 8-10 of May.
It is one of the largest in Europe visited by more than 15 000 people in 2 days, and Sofia Tech Park joined the event with a mission at heart.
The Business development team established partnership with the organizers of The Next Web and they were generous to offer great welcome discounts for Bulgarian startups to also join the event.
Several companies joined the Sofia Tech Park cohort – event – Hyperfold, Prosfit, 15toGo, Dynax, Prodronesys and Referial. Our team also organized for them a special “invite only” business breakfast, where they had the opportunity to get connected and explore more opportunities for their development during conversations with over 60 representatives of international companies, officials and government representatives. This is the first Bulgarian organized group visiting TNW whit preferences and additional opportunities.
Two of the Bulgarian companies were selected to present their businesses in front of the audience and the feedback was also very positive. This allowed them to get European exposure of their work and interest from investors and potential partners was also noticeably strong.
Some of the Bulgarian startups, part of the Sofia Tech Park cohort were invited by European countries officials and other organizations to further start on collaboration, partnership and new market opportunities, as well as participate in other industry specific forums where they can also generate exposure and attention.
Besides preferential prices for TNW and the special events to create contacts whit the European ecosystem the Bulgarian startups Hyperfold and Prodronesys were selected to present their business ideas among finalists of “Battle it out”.
Sofia Tech Park team is proud to contribute to the Bulgarian startup ecosystem and while developing international partnerships to inclusively welcome companies to gain international traction and recognition through our network.
