We are open for partnerships and proposals and you are all welcome! “This was announced by the Sofia Tech Executive Director Todor Mladenov during the awards ceremony for the participants in the competition organized by the newspaper” 24 Hours “, for a successful small and medium-sized business – ” The Big Small “. He bestowed the award of the winner in the “Sustainable Business” category of the company “Brothers Chicheclievi”. Mladenov stressed that the company is developing its innovative product together with the team of MicroNanoLab Laboratory, which is part of the Laboratory Complex of the science and technology Park. The company was founded in 1992 and was originally housed in a basement. It specializes in the production of refrigerated showcases, initially its customers are small shops. The difference is that they make the showcases on an individual project tailored to the needs and wishes of the client. Other items such as racks, stands, and other furnishings are gradually entering their portfolio. With a lot of effort and dedication today the company has big clients on the Bulgarian market, and now abroad. At present, the company, together with scientists from Sofia Tech Park, is developing a project for smart refrigerated showcase.

Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova awarded the Orenda Foundation a prize in the Social Entrepreneurship category, which creates educational games and aids for children, including those with special educational needs.

Five awards were awarded in the Startups category. Honors were awarded to CloudCart, Chile Hille, Orenda Group, Quark VR, Algee Bulgaria. In the category “Innovative company” were awarded “Bagrin N” and “Bio Benjamin”, who received their prize from the Deputy Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov. He stressed that the Ministry of Economy will provide BGN 200 million to support small and medium-sized businesses.

This year 88 Bulgarian companies took part in the contest “The Big Small”.
