On 15 May 2019 “Re Energy Engineering”, specializing in geothermal heat pump systems, presented an informational lecture to students with subject “Automation” at TU Sofia. About 10 students 1st and 2nd year, participated together with Assoc. Prof.Eng. Vessela Karlova Sergieva, Ph Dand Assist.Prof.Eng.Alexander Marinchev, PhD from the scientific staff of Faculty of Automation. Re Energy has been presented by Eng.Stefan Antonov, PhD, previously Automation engineer at the company, currently their partner and freelancer in the field of Energy efficiency and Engineering.
The lecture had three goals: (1) to teach the students about geothermal heat pump systems; (2) to present them the company, its expertise, activity and achievements; (3) to motivate the students to participate in the recently organized internship program of Re Energy.
The presentation’s content was adapted in compliance to the educational material at subject “Automation”. This enabled to clarify for the students where in the practical field of geothermal heat pump systems they will encounter concrete techniques, technologies, device types and control system methods, all of which part of students’ educational material. As part of our initiative for linking academia and industry, this is the second event open for students. We are anticipating students’ subscriptions to participate as interns at Re Energy.
In the meanwhile, we continue developing our initiative, including this internship program in Sofia Tech Park.
