The Sofia Tech Park’s team discussed the options for partnership with the Science Technology Nis

The representatives of Sofia Tech Park participated in the first (after the Covid-19 pandemic) Bulgarian-Serbian business forum, organized by the BSMEPA and the Embassy of The Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Bulgaria. The event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria Kalina Konstantinova, the Executive Director of BSMEPA Boyko Takov, the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Bulgaria Zeljko Jovich and the Director of Sector for Planning and Analysis at Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) Vladimir Jovanovic.

More than 50 Serbian an dBulgarian companies took participation in the forum, as well as representatives of the Science Technology Park Nis. Sofia Tech Park was represented by the Chief Executive Officer Todor Mladenov.

As part of the forum, there was a meeting between the team of Sofia Tech Park and the representatives of the Science Technology Park Nis. The delegation consisting of the Science Technology Pak Nis’s Director Milan Randjelovic and the Assistant Director Milos Grozdanovic, visited the Incubator Building in Sofia Tech Park. They expressed their pleasure of the opportunity to exchange experience between the two organizations. In the meeting participated also the Business Development Director Mark Marinov, the Business Development Expert Katarina Marinova, the Innovation Project Expert Hristina Bakardzieva, as well as others representatives of Sofia Tech Park. The teams took the opportunity to make plans for the joint actions toward the development of the Balkan start-up ecosystem.

You can expect many new initiatives in support of start-up companies implemented in collaboration between the two science technology parks.
