On 21 January 2022, the Bulgarian supercomputer Discoverer opened the first calls for proposals for HPC resource allocation. There are two types of calls which are open at the moment:

• regular access calls for large computing resources lasting up to 1 year.
• Benchmark & Fast Track calls, which are for smaller resources and can last up to 4 months.

After evaluation of the submitted proposals for their eligibility and competitiveness, according to specified criteria, the final selection will be made, and the resources will be allocated for free.

Both calls are open to all researchers and teams from academia and business, on the condition that the project results will be made publicly available and used for noncommercial and nonprofit purposes only.
